Isis Oasis

This series of pictures were taken over two days in January 2011 at Isis Oasis Sanctuary in Geyserville, CA, about 3 hours north of San Francisco. The Sanctuary was founded in 1978, as Isis Oasis Retreat Center, by artist Loreon Vigne. Today, it houses the Isis Temple, a lodging facility, a theater, a restaurant named Mummy's Kitchen, and an animal sanctuary.

There are many artistic details everywhere, including this painted ight switch plate.
The rusted iron sculpture frames the brightly painted window of the Lodge.
Beautiful peacock stained glass decorates the restaurant Mummy's Kitchen.
Bold colors and patterns are found through out. the premises. Outside, we can see the 600-year-old Douglas Fir in the background.
